Melissa Wood earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting/Drawing at Brigham Young University in 2006. During college she got married and after graduating, she and her husband moved to Texas and have been living there since. Melissa's hobbies include sleeping, crafting with her four kids, perfecting the chocolate chip cookie, napping, reading self-help books, drawing, and catching up on sleep (yes, sleep it really is one of her best talents).
For the past several years she has done mostly freelance design work with brides, new parents, graduates, families... Designing and illustrating life's most celebrated and happy occasions. She has also worked as a licensed textile designer for Riley Blake Fabrics, and KOKKA fabrics and is currently designing wallpaper for The Better Wallpaper Co.
Melissa and her husband teamed up in 2015 & became business partners. Together, they created www.melimba.com, an online shop that is filled with digital delights & all sorts of paper goods.
